In Emerald Brennan confession, it is stated that her hatred towards his victim is at a very high level, enough for her to order gangster to beat him to death.
Similar to other stalking cases, it is caused by a failed sexual relationship between Brennan and her ex-boyfriend. Brennan who has a high pride on herself could not accept that her boyfriend is betraying her and flirting with other girls. His action of ignoring her during they were together ruin Brennan's pride as a high class woman. All of this causes her to take revenge on her boyfriend as an act of punishment.
As a woman, Brennan cannot have a direct contact with the victim to ensure her own safety. She had followed her for two weeks to analysis her victim's daily activities. On weekend, during her ex-boyfriend was away, she hired gangsters to broke victim's house and damage the properties including victim's Bently (a car brand). As expected from a career woman who has high IQ, all of the damages are not done directly by her to avoid her from being detected.
Nevertheless, Brennan was still not satisfied. Due to her frustration and desperation for not having a mate, she started to harm her victim physically. A high class woman like Brennan usually has a tough life as they dealt with high tension everyday and most men avoid them. This explains Brennan’s hostility behaviors toward her ex-boyfriend.
Right now, Brennan is taking a counseling session in Just-Money Hospital to learn how to control her feeling so that she can continue living normally without thinking about her ex-boyfriend.
